Play started just after 2pm and there were tons of poker players piling through the doors.
After 5 hours of poker the final table got underway.With quite a few spectators, including friends and those already eliminated from the tournament, the final table was a great success. It was a hard fought battle, with the blinds at 5000- 10000. It came down to Jason Jeanveau and Luis Kroeker the final pair. With a Flat Screen TV and a trip for two to Vegas on the line both players stepped up and brought their A game. In the end, the man that stood with all the chips and a trip for Two to Vegas with a buy in to a WSOP event was Jason Jeanveau.

As the final table got under way, a crowd swarmed our feature table, as the spotlights shone on our finalists. The action started quickly as the blinds reached 5000-10000. One by one the players dropped out until we were heads up; Hanspal Johar vs. Amit Misra for the 1Deal.ca poker championship. It came down to the wire. Amit pushed all in pre-flop with K10 and after a couple seconds Hanspaul called revealing a K8. A King came on the flop and an 8 fourth street two pairing Hanspaul, crowning him the champion. The night was a huge success with a great turnout.
